Stewardship for buildings
Built for the long-term care of the places we live.
HearthlyOS keeps a self-managed condo's maintenance, records and decisions in one place, so the board can see what is due and what has been done.
Who it's for
Boards that run the building themselves
HearthlyOS is for volunteer boards of condo corporations with roughly 5 to 50 units, managing without a property manager or with very little help from one.
Most of these boards keep the building in email threads, shared drives and the memory of whoever has served longest. That works until someone steps down.
What it does
One record of the building
- The building record
- Units, owners and residents, parking and storage, and the assets the board looks after. Import the owner list from a spreadsheet and export it when you need to send notice.
- Maintenance that comes back on time
- Start from a reviewed schedule for Alberta or Ontario, keep what applies to your building, and each job returns when it is due.
- The board's work in one inbox
- Maintenance and everything else, from a noise complaint to an insurance renewal, in one list ordered by what needs attention first.
- A history that stays put
- Record what was done, by whom and at what cost. Records are corrected, never overwritten.
Getting started
How a board gets set up
- 01
Set up the building
Add the profile, units and the assets the board is responsible for.
- 02
Adopt a schedule
Review the provincial starting schedule and keep what applies.
- 03
Bring in the board
Invite the other directors. Everyone sees the same record.
- 04
Work from the inbox
Handle what is due, record what was done, and move on.
How it behaves
Built for people who answer for the building
- It shows its sources
- Maintenance suggestions name the provincial schedule and version they came from.
- It records who did what
- Every change is logged with the person and the time.
- It survives the handover
- A new director can read the building's state and history on their first day.
